AUDITION: Blood on Canvas

“BLOOD ON CANVAS” Sat 15 June at 2pm @ KADS Theatre, 6 Central Mall, Kalamunda
A one-act thriller by Richard James, directed by David Gribble
(This play will be one of three performed at the KADS “Thrills & Chills” One Act Festival)
Roles: This is a two-hander for two female actors, with both parts of equal size and having a significant amount of dialogue to learn:
• Maddie: (an artist) stage age anywhere between 20 and 45
• Stella: (a visitor) stage age anywhere between 20 and 45
Synopsis: Maddie is beginning to establish herself as a successful artist, but her studio and gallery are situated in a remote area and a killer is apparently on the loose. When art collector Stella arrives, it becomes clear that one of them is the killer. The tension rises inexorably… to the shocking final denouement. Run time: 45 minutes
Rehearsal Days: Tues and Thurs evenings for all of Jul – Aug, plus Sat or Sun afternoons during August.
Season Dates: Fri Aug 30, Sat 31 Aug, Fri 6 Sept, Sat 7 Sept 2019 (4 performances, plus possibly one extra at the Hills Theatre Festival with date TBA)
Audition Details: Sat 15 June at 2pm at KADS Theatre. This will be a warm read.
