Murdoch Theatre Company’s upcoming production is The Trojan Women, directed by Abbey McCaughan. This production has a diverse cast and crew of strong women, with shows on the 27th-29th of June, at 7pm.

Performances will be at Murdoch University’s South Street campus, at Studio 411.

This feminist retelling is demanding of the audience’s attention. The Trojan Women is a poignant, lyrical reimagining of the Ancient Greek tragedy – focusing on the women of Troy following the events of the infamous siege of Troy, where the Greeks stormed the city in their giant wooden horse.

The production features a cast of diverse actresses – both experienced and new faces to the Perth theatre community. Under Abbey McCaughan’s loving and thorough direction these women have worked towards an incredibly engaging play, and Murdoch Theatre Company is proud and excited to show audiences what they’ve worked so hard to create.
