Harbour Theatre presents
“Picasso’s Women” A drama written by Brian McAvera
Directed by Jarrod Buttery
Directed by Jarrod Buttery
“When Pablo paints, he paints with other people’s blood.”
Pablo Picasso — the most influential artist of the 20th Century — was married twice but had many lovers. Picasso’s Women tells the stories of three of these women.
The play is a collection of honest, brutal, erotic, and humorous monologues that pull no punches. It allows these real women to present their points of view, uncovering their buried histories, against the backdrop of Picasso’s art and the tumultuous 20th Century.
Featuring: Melissa Merchant, Anna Head & Sheryl Spencer.
