CLUE The Musical Brings Board Games to Life
An internationally popular game, CLUE/CLUEDO is now a fun-filled musical that brings the world’s best-known suspects to life and invites the audience to help solve the mystery: who killed Mr. Boddy, in what room, and with what weapon? The audience receives forms to help them deduce the solution from clues given throughout the fun-filled performances. Three audience members choose from cards representing the potential murderers, weapons, and rooms; there are 216 possible solutions! Comic antics, witty lyrics, and a beguiling score carry the investigation from room to room as the cast sings and dances their way into your hearts and into suspicion.
Krispin Maesalu (who is also the president of Phoenix Theatre) says, “We fell in love with CLUE the Musical because it shamelessly and fearlessly explores the impulses and inner workings of one of our favourite board games. The exuberant way it captures the insanity of the suspects is full of intrigue and surprise and is bound to captivate audiences in new and exciting ways. I, for one, am dying to show you what we’ve come up with.”
