Poets’ Picnic Comes to Busselton
Busselton Poetry aficionados will be delighted to learn that the popular Poets’ Breakfast from the Nannup Music Festival will be experiencing a sea-change this year, into a Poets’ Picnic in Mitchell Park.
On Saturday 5th March between 5pm and 6pm, three of the Nannup Festival’s favourite bards will regale picnickers with an hour of free, family friendly-fun in the centre of Busselton.
Phil Strutt’s repertoire of humorous original poetry is always popular and he will be ably assisted by fellow poets Peter Nettleton and Geoff Swain.
Accomplished folk singer Peter and Shanty Man Geoff will also add a few fun musical numbers into the mix.
Bring a blanket, fetch a fold-up chair, pack a picnic (or bring along some takeaway from nearby), and add an enjoyable interlude into your holiday weekend.
