Due to complications with Covid and a cast member needing urgent surgery, this play was deferred from Season 1 to the September slot.

Two roles have become available and need to be filled asap.

Laura Urquhart and her husband, Ben Urquhart.

We all remember the Global Financial Crisis circa 2007 – 2011. Indeed, many of us are still suffering the effects. Action takes place shortly after this disastrous event when the very wealthy and unscathed businessman, Alan Urquhart returns to Australia from the USA to celebrate his 70th birthday with his family, his two sons and their wives, and to introduce his new 33-year-old American ex-beauty queen wife.

Questions of inheritance loom large, and what ensues will give you lots of laughs, lots of insight, lots to feel angry about and lots with which to empathise. Often inappropriate and darkly funny.

The team involved in this play, a cast of 7, are all fabulous to work with, and they bring plenty of experience to their roles. Rehearsals starting now, you need to be available beyond September 24th to allow for possible Covid delays.

CHARACTER/ROLE TO BE FILLED.

Laura Urquhart – A bit of a tree hugger, distraught over her father’s recent death. Stage age late 30’s – mid 40’s. Flexible.

Ben Urquhart, the youngest son of Alan Urquhart. Academic. Australian generic accent. Anglo-Celtic to fit with the rest of the family. Stage age 40 – 50. Flexible.
