AUDITION MASTERCLASS
WAYTCo is running a world-class training opportunity for people wanting to audition for performance training institutes such as WA Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA), National Institute of Dramatic Arts (NIDA), Victoria College of the Arts (VCA), and other tertiary performance training institutes.
Lead by industry leaders Chris Edmund (Former Head of Acting, WAAPA) and Julia Moody (Former Head of Voice, WAAPA), the audition workshops will cover the fundamentals of monologue performance and voice training to ensure your audition is fully developed and stands out in excellence.
TIME, DATES, LOCATION
The workshops will take place over two days, participants must attend both workshops and are to arrive 15 minutes before start time.
DAY 1 – CONTEMPORARY VOICE AND ACTING
Saturday October 26th | 9am – 5pm
DAY 2 – SHAKESPEARE VOICE AND ACTING
Sunday October 27th | 9:30am – 5pm

PRICE
Participants must be 17 or older to book a spot.
Non-members: $250 ($230 Early Bird Price for bookings befor September 30)
Members: $220 ($200 Early Bird Price for bookings befor September 30)
WHAT TO BRING
Two audition pieces from the WAAPA or NIDA audition lists or similar. A contemporary piece and a Shakespeare piece. These two pieces must be fully committed to memory prior to the commencement of the workshop.
A copy of both pieces to be given to the facilitators during their work sessions.
Loose comfy clothing to move freely in.
Tea and coffee will be provided, BYO Lunch.
