Fourth season, 2019. Full length play.
PERFORMANCE DATES:
15 November to 7th December 2019. We will be presenting this production in the last three weeks of November 2019 and want talented actors and actresses to join us in this high quality production.
AUDITION DATES & TIMESLOTS:
Friday 23 August adult auditions

Saturday 24 August girls and Laurie auditions
1. 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM or
2. 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
Sunday 25 August girls and Laurie auditions & extra adult audition slot.

SYNOPSIS:
Little Women is the first book, which spans from one Christmas to the next in Victorian times. A timeless classic featuring strong roles for women.
CHARACTERS:
Ages are stage ages only. Successful participants will be matched up with other cast members.
Jo March 16-18 Tomboyish, hates pretty clothes, behaves like the “father of the family” while her father is away in the war.
Meg March 18-20 Pretty, feminine, ladylike. Falls in love with Mr Brooke.
Beth March 14-18 Frail, gentle, thoughtful, caring. Ability to play the piano or mimic piano playing preferred.
Amy March 12-16 The youngest sibling. Immature, snobby, selfish.
Hannah 40-60 The housekeeper who treats the girls as her own.
Mrs March (Marmee) 35-45 The head of the family. Very caring, but firm with the girls, teaches them to be caring children.
Aunt March 45-60 The Matriarch of the family. Stubborn, grumpy, scary, Rich.
Laurie 18-22 A bright, friendly boy who is lonely, lives with his grandfather.
John Brooke 20-35 Laurie’s tutor. Falls in love with Meg. Considerate and loyal.
Mr Laurence 50-70 Appears grumpy and irritable, but actually cares about the family.
Mr March 35–45 Needs to match Marmee in age. Small role in final act. Away fighting in the civil war. Firm but loving.
