A funny thing happened on the way to staging A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum in 2020, a global pandemic shut down theatres around the world. But not anymore! It is time once again to sing, dance, laugh and outwit anyone who stands in the way of A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum gracing the stage in 2021.
THE STORY
‘Forum’ is a hysterical nonstop musical farce in which every character uses quick wit and craft to twist and turn the plot – with mistaken identities, chases, slamming doors, a kick line or two… and more eye-rolling can surely be comfortable to perform in 2 hours onstage!

AUDITIONS
Will be held on Sunday the 6th of December at 10 am in the Roleystone Scout Hall.

The audition will consist of singing, acting and dance/movement audition.
Please make sure to pick a song that best shows off your skills (preferably nothing from the show), wear comfortable clothes to dance in, and practice some fast tongue twisters ready to do some script reading.

Pseudolus
A Roman slave, owned by Hero, who seeks to win his freedom by helping his young master win the heart of Philia. Quick-witted, scheming, childlike spirit.
